Manager, Creative Program Manager - Brand

The Capital One Brand team is responsible for making Capital One and its products easy to recognize, remember, and choose. We do this by empowering teams across the enterprise to deliver a cohesive and powerful brand experience - to our associates, customers, prospects and the community at large. The Creative Program Manager will help shape and position the creative process and assist in the delivery of campaigns, activations, and additional projects through project management best practices and resources.

What you'll do

Own creative program management for your assigned partner groups.

  • Manage the intake, prioritization and backlog process at the program level

  • Own interaction model discovery and manage roles and responsibilities for the program

  • Develop and maintain formal process documentation

  • Create program timelines and schedules to help with management of resources and capacity; will project manage projects as needed

Collaborate with leaders and line of business partners.

  • Develop and own communication processes and ceremonies in partnership with executive and group creative directors

  • Collect data and deliver reporting to senior leadership on project trends and to forecast resource needs

  • Exhibit outstanding influencing and communication skills to effectively drive project/program efforts

Evolve and continuously evaluate processes.

  • Identify tools and processes to move strategy of program forward; drive organizational consistency when applicable

  • Compile program feedback through retrospective and other means; implement process improvements

Lead a team of highly skilled creative project managers.

  • Manage a team of project managers supporting their specific lines of business within the program

  • Coach and develop your direct reports to elevate their work, for themselves and their partners

  • Manage escalations and resolve impediments

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 4 years of Project Management experience

  • At least 4 years of experience with project management software or tools

  • At least 2 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience

  • At least 3 years managing projects for in-house creative, marketing, or agency teams

  • At least 2 years of experience with Workfront

  • Proficiency in Google Suite

  • Ability to self-manage and escalate potential roadblocks with confidence

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience in resource and task management with the ability to explore solution-oriented approaches based on project-specific needs

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, Brand

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
