As aPower Platform Architectyou will have the ability to contribute to the growth of our Business Applications and Automation Group by helping large scale organizations adopt the Microsoft Business Applicationsat an enterprise level with a focus on the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agentsas well as Dynamics for Finance and Operations. AIS delivers cross-cloud transformation solutions that help commercial and federal enterprises improves business results by migrating to the cloud, modernizing apps, and using data intelligence.
Serve as a lead to help and guide our clients to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies
Work to understand client pain points to provide multi-cloud solutions and best practices by utilizing problem-solving and decision-making skills
Review current VBA Macros and Add-Ins and provide migration strategies based on capabilities and additional criteria
Meet with Stakeholders to review their current
Oversee client discovery workshops, requirements gathering and documentation, and development of conceptual design and architecture
Design best practice-compliant data models (i.e. multiple entities) across multiple solutions
Architect components in support of some combination of PowerApps, Power BI, Flow, and Dynamics 365.
Work in an agile environment and provide technical leadership to the team throughout all agile ceremonies
Evangelize the Power Platform to internal and external audiences and work with internal AIS groups to develop sales and marketing assets
Support activities in a pre-sales engineering role by Providing thought leadership and solution guidance in writing and architecting of proposals supporting Power Platform sales opportunities.
Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends
8 + years of industry experience and professional experience in solutiondevelopment using a combination of Power Platform and Multi-Cloud technologies
Experience in leading solution design activities across enterprise level solutions
Experience leading efforts in support of solutions using technologies such as PowerApps, Power BI, Flow, and Dynamics 365
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to capture key information to support migration activities
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Must be a US Citizen
This is a remote opportunity with some travel to the client site.
Travel to the People's Republic of China is prohibited for this role.
Security clearance preferred: Secret
Familiarity with tools for migrating data from on-premises systems to the cloud including working with SQL server, Oracle and data transformation tools.
Experience converting on-premised based Office macros and add-ins to cloud-based solutions (Power Platform, SharePoint or Azure web apps).
Proficiency in languages to build or modify custom add-ins (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript and other)
Deep knowledge of Office.js API for interacting with Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio) in the cloud environment. This includes performing tasks like reading, writing and manipulating documents, spreadsheets and email using the API.
Experience migrating Office macros and add-ins to Power Platform or Azure web apps
Setting up Center of Excellence (COE) in the Power Platform
Providing workshops and trainings to new low code/no code users to the Power Platform
Data Modeling experience with Data Architecture and SQL Expertise
Converting C# to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript
API Integrations
Experience with VBA, COM and VSTO
